Risk & Capital Manager

Arthur is collaborating with a leading global provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance seeking a dynamic Capital Actuary to join their Strategic Analytics team in London.

The role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in contributing to key business decisions by analysing the quantitative risk profile of the group. The responsibilities will span across the organisation and will be intergal in strengthening the risk and capital management framework.

*Please note a RTW in the UK is required for this position. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the capital model is an appropriate representation of the business to support and influence the wider use (e.g. for underwriting performance management or ceded reinsurance purchase)
• Improve the development, understanding and communcation of the modelled capital risk profile with various group stakeholders 
• Support wider capital modelling team
• Coordinate relationships with local and worldwide entities

Desired Experience:

• Qualified non-life actuary with a background in risk actuarial, including experience in consultancy and/or P&C insurance.
• Experience in capital modelling desired 
• Strong track record of collaboration with planning, underwriting or pricing teams
