A leading insurance company seeking a Risk Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in risk management and a thorough understanding of the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company's risk management framework to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business.
  • Provide guidance, training and support to first line management in the operation of the risk management framework.
  • Identify, monitor, manage, report and analyse risks to the company.
  • Conduct in-depth risk assessments and reviews.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to drive effective risk management.
  • Produce regular risk management analysis and reporting.
  • Promote a strong risk culture within the company.

Competencies, Skills, and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in the insurance sector.
  • Strong background in risk management, audit, governance, internal control or compliance.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II is an advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Professional scepticism and ability to make sound judgement.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence and produce high-quality reports.
  • Strong ability to influence and develop effective working relationships.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Risk management qualification is a plus.
