 Brand new Risk Manager role to lead the development and implementation of key risk management activities and support the creation of the business’ risk management strategy and plan. This role will also promote a positive risk culture and ensure that the First Line understands their responsibilities and accountability.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the risk management strategy and plan.
  • Lead the quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessment.
  • Oversee the risk event process and support control rectification.
  • Develop and implement the second line assurance framework.
  • Implement the emerging risk process.
  • Engage stakeholders in monitoring and reporting key risk indicators.
  • Develop and deliver the Stress and Scenario Testing framework.
  • Conduct deep dive reviews of risk areas and monitor actions to completion.
  • Support the Risk and Capital Assessment process and reporting.

 
Experience needed:

  • Demonstrated experience in risk management with a commercial insurer, reinsurer, or broker.
  • Familiarity with the UK insurance market landscape.
  • Knowledge of legal and commercial requirements in insurance and reinsurance.
