Risk Manager - Transformation

I’m working with a leading insurer undergoing a major transformation programme. They’re seeking Risk Manager to strengthen their Risk function and provide oversight across high-profile change initiatives.

The Role:

• Act as Risk lead on strategic projects, offering advice and independent challenge.
• Represent Risk in governance forums and contribute to ORSA reporting.
• Deliver targeted reviews and provide actionable insights.
• Partner with change and transformation teams to strengthen delivery.
• Produce concise risk reports for boards and senior leadership.
• Support framework development (Top Risks, KRIs, Issues, Incidents).
• Mentor a direct report and promote a strong risk culture.

Skills Required:

• Strong background in insurance and change/transformation.
• Experience in project risk, PMO or large-scale change environments.
• Skilled at stakeholder engagement and influencing senior leaders.
• Commercially aware, with knowledge of insurance systems/technology.
• Able to distil complex issues into clear recommendations.
