Risk Officer

I am looking for a driven professional to join the Operational Risk team of a leading brand in the London Insurance Market, reporting directly to the Head of Operational Risk. This is a pivotal role where you’ll partner with senior stakeholders, own the Operational Risk framework, and help shape consistent risk practices across a global group.

This role requires Operational Risk and UK insurance experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Define and deliver a comprehensive Operational Risk strategy and annual plan.
• Establish and embed a clear Operational Risk appetite framework, ensuring it’s reflected in decision-making.
• Lead risk identification, assessment, and mitigation processes, maintaining a clear view of organisational risk exposure.
• Collaborate with business functions to monitor risk and advise on mitigation strategies, including for new projects.
• Develop and enhance GRC tools and processes.
• Produce insightful Operational Risk reporting for the Board, senior management, and regulators.
• Drive effective risk governance through committees and frameworks.
• Champion a strong risk culture across the organisation.
