Risk Profitability Actuary - Director

Arthur is thrilled to be partnering with a global speciality insurer who is actively searching for an Actuarial Director to join their expanding risk division. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an individual to have a significant impact on establishing and expanding a robust risk analysis process for property and casualty business.

Utilising excellent stakeholder engagement skills, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional leaders within the organisation and their insurance partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct actuarial analyses to evaluate the profitability of written business and communicate the results effectively
• Contribute to the utilisation and expansion of a recently developed process for claims data production and monitoring
• Identify and establish early warning indicators and analytical practices for risk identification.

Your Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Qualified Actuary, Life-ACAS, FCAS.
• Strong expertise in the insurance industry, particularly speciality, commercial, and reinsurance.
• Proficiency in modelling and visualisation tools, including SQL, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
