The Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst plays a key role in assessing and quantifying both natural and non-natural catastrophe risks across a wide range of specialty classes. This role serves as the cornerstone for developing a dedicated research and development function within Exposure Management.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Advancing research in climate change impacts and catastrophe model validation.
  • Conducting claims back-testing, calibration, and developing sophisticated analytical tools.

Innovation and Strategy:

  • Designing and deploying risk scenarios, addressing emerging risks, optimizing portfolios, and refining event response strategies.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Implementing advanced modeling practices under the guidance of a catastrophe risk manager to enhance organizational understanding of complex risks.
  • Contributing to thought leadership in catastrophe risk management by developing innovative frameworks and methodologies.
