Senior/ Catastrophe Modelling Analyst

Arthur has partnered with a global leading Reinsurance and Insurance organisation on the search for a Catastrophe Modelling analyst to join their London based team. 
 
This is a newly created position within a fast growing area of the business and offering exciting prospects within the catastrophe modelling team, managing catastrophes exposures for specialty lines of business including energy, fine art & specie units with interaction on Property lines during busy periods. The catastrophe modelling team are integrated within a central team and work collaboratively with actuaries, underwriters and various internal stakeholders. As a catastrophe analyst, you will:

• Model catastrophe risks using AIR vendor models for Energy, Fine Art, Specie and natural catastrophe risks. 
• Communicate model output to key stakeholders, including underwriters, actuarial and senior management 
• Develop tools to help automate catastrophe modelling processes
• Support the Exposure Management team with the monthly roll-up 
• Provide input for business planning
