Senior Claims Adjuster - Property

Are you an experienced Property Claims Adjuster looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our Adjusting team is seeking a Senior Property Claims Adjuster to take on a critical role in our growing Claims Department.

As a Senior Property Claims Adjuster, you'll have the opportunity to direct all aspects of file handling on both in-house and third-party administered property claims, with opportunities for growth in technical handling and professional development. You'll also lead the adjusting and litigation process, partnering strategically with counsel, experts, and vendors to drive optimal claim resolutions.

In this role, you'll utilize your analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze and determine coverage, manage claim investigations, evaluate overall claims, and communicate promptly with internal and external stakeholders. You'll also have the chance to pursue recoveries and risk transfer where warranted in a variety of property claims.
 
Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigation and assessment of claims for coverage and damages, and pursue recovery opportunities.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of coverage issues, policy forms, contracts, regulatory requirements, and the changing legal landscape for liability/casualty claims.
• Proactively and promptly manage claims, considering all aspects with a strategic vision for optimal claim outcome.
• Utilize your strong technical claims proficiency through consistent execution of best claim practices.
• Have financial reserve and settlement authority dependent on your skills and experience.

 Experience :

• 10 years plus experience of U.S. Property Claims. Casualty and auto/cargo (physical damage) lines is preferred but not essential
• Proficiency in technical claims and ability to execute best claim practices
• Capability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and remain self-motivated in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities for claims desk
• Excellent business acumen and collaboration skills to work with other departments and vendors.
