Senior Data Engineer

A growing Lloyds’s syndicate with Data at their core is looking to further grow out their data engineering function.

They’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the team working on Azure stack with a mixture of technologies including Azure Databricks, ADF, Azure DevOps, PySpark, SQL and more.

Essential skills for the Senior Data Engineer:

• Well versed with Azure Data Engineering stack
• Experience with SQL and Python/PySpark
• Good practices such as TDD and CI/CD/DevOps
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Databricks (Desirable)
• Insurance or FS industry experience (Desirable)

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum
Benefits: Above Insurance industry standard bonus, 10% pension contributed by employer, 31 days annual leave + Bank holidays, medical/dental
Location: London/WFH hybrid
Start Date: 1-3 month notice periods considered
