Senior Delegated Authority Analyst

We’re delighted to be working with a market leading Lloyd’s syndicate who are looking to hire a Senior Delegated Underwriting Analyst to join their Delegated Authority team.

Reporting directly to the Delegated Underwriting Manager, you will be their right hand person in this elevated role; regularly providing support and deputising at internal and external meetings, reporting and underwriter queries.

You will be partnering with senior stakeholders to support on delegated arrangements and have ownership of complex lead binder reviews and new coverholder applications to both the company and Lloyd’s.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and preparing new applications for Lloyd's; this includes worldwide coverholder applications and branch applications
• Ensure that all binding contracts, master policies, consortiums, and line slips adhere to company procedures and regulatory requirements both before and after binding.
• Perform technical due diligence risk assessments of Coverholders, ensuring they meet the highest standards required.
• Provide valuable assistance to underwriters, including offering technical advice and assisting with Coverholder approvals.
• Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring and evaluating changes in the regulatory environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions that keep the company compliant.
• Drafting direct dealing contracts and endorsements 

To be considered for the role it is essential you have a deep understanding of delegated underwriting authority practices; particularly coverholder onboarding.  Along with strong knowledge of insurance industry practices and current regulatory requirements for Coverholder Management.
