Senior Delegated Authority Audit Analyst

A fantastic and newly created opportunity has arisen for a Senior Delegated Underwriting Audit Analyst to join a leading insurance company.

In this role, you'll ensure the quality and compliance of delegated underwriting arrangements while working alongside an experienced Manager, who will support your professional development and have the opportunity to attend coverholder and TPA audits with a view to developing your auditing skills if desired. 

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating audits of Coverholders and TPAs, working closely with underwriters, claims teams, and external audit firms.
• Reviewing audit reports to ensure findings are clear, actionable, and aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
• Tracking and resolving audit recommendations, following up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
• Assessing delegated authority agreements to ensure full compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Contributing to policy and process improvements, supporting the development of the audit function.
• Being a key point of contact for delegated underwriting queries, collaborating across teams to drive results.

Experience:

• Experience in delegated authority, underwriting audit, or due diligence (Lloyd’s market experience preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
