Arthur is excited to be collaborating with a prestigious Loyd's Syndicate and Insurer as they search for a Senior First Party Claims Adjuster to join their already market leading claims team based in the heart of the Lloyd’s Insurance market.
In this role, you'll take on a crucial position managing a portfolio of complex Terrorism and Property claims in a lead capacity. The role offers the opportunity to become the companies leading representative in the market for Terrorism claims playing a key part in continuing to develop their reputation and offering globally.
It is ideal for individuals with a background in Terrorism claims who aspire to advance their careers in a top-performing syndicate.
Your Role:
Lead adjuster assessing and managing assigned claims within own defined authority
Guaranteeing coverage is accurately reviewed and that reserving is correctly set and maintained
Ensure proactive claims adjusting
Setting of file strategies and negotiating settlement in accordance with policy terms
Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and all statutory requirements
Make certain all large and complex losses are managed/escalated correctly
Prompt reporting on large losses both internally and to reinsurers
Lead/attend market claims meeting
Mentoring and coaching of more junior team members, including referral support
Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience handling Terrorism claims and an understanding of the London insurance market
Demonstrate strong written and spoken communication skills
Have strong London market system experience such as ECF or Class as well as good IT (Microsoft Office) skills, including Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
Possess strong independent organisational skills
