A global insurer with a fantastic reputation in the market have partnered with us on the seatch for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their Expenses division. Reporting to the Head of Expense Planning, this role will lead the Annual Planning and Quarterly Forecasts for the organisaiton across their 10 entities and supporting the CFO's strategic objectives. It is a key part of the Expense Planning Team and will help foster a positive team culture while adapting to evolving business needs.
Responsibilities include;
Lead the Annual Expense Planning/Budgeting process and support quarterly expense reporting and analysis for accurate actual vs. budget comparisons.
Work with Business Partners to understand and convey the expense base, cost drivers, and business performance impact, and create high-quality expense sections for Board reports and presentations
Support production of expense sections of quarterly Board reports and annual plan presentations, incorporating quality insight and analysis, to a high written standard.
Adhere to the process and controls framework, collaborate with stakeholders and assist Executive Board members, and the group heads with the planing and budgeting process
Build and maintain a network of contacts within the business support achieving objectives.

You must have;
Strong demonstatable experience in an FP&A role focusing around Expense Planning/Budgeting
Experience in the Insurance/Reinsurance sector
Excellent financial modelling and variance analysis skills
Ability to be proactive and energetic working in a fastpaced environment and with tight deadlines
Fantastic communicator and ability to simplify financial terms with non-finance personel
Strong PowerPoint and PowerBI Skills
Salary on offer is up to £85k + bonus, brand new central London offices and hybrid working.
