An exceptional career opportunity has arisen for an Internal Auditor within the Insurance market to joined a reputable global Insurer within their Group Internal Audit function. As an integral part of this highly efficient and esteemed team, your role will involve conducting internal audits across a range of divisional functions, processes, and controls. Through your audit recommendations, you will contribute significantly to adding value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audits across diverse functions within the witihn the operational function
  • Strategically plan and execute comprehensive internal audits, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards and timely completion.
  • Deliver audit findings effectively, collaborating with management to address risks and enhance controls through recommendations.
  • Champion best practices and innovative techniques to boost team efficiency, providing mentorship to junior colleagues as necessary.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with management, staff, and stakeholders, both internally and externally, to grasp their expectations and continually assess the control environment.
  • Potential for travel to UK, Europe, and other global offices
  • Contribute significantly to various internal audit initiatives aimed at advancing the strategy.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in leading audits of financial and operational controls within the insurance sector.
  • Hold a professional qualification in audit, insurance, risk management, or a related field, or be actively pursuing one.
  • Proficient in data analysis techniques and adept at analytically exploring information.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective engagement with stakeholders across all management levels.
  • Ability to balance quality with meeting audit output deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Comfortable and engaged in a hybrid work environment.

Salary on offer is up to £80k + bonus, benefits and hybrid working.
