A leading London Market Insurer are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their highly regarded internal audit team where you will play an integral role in the continuation of ensuring the business has robust internal risk and controls across a range of international jurisdictions.
As part of a London team of 6, you will report into the Internal Audit director and work closely with the team to lead and partner on a range of operational audits. You will have ownership over audits from end-to-end as well as collaborate with the Internal Audit Managers on larger complex audits to ensure your work load is varied, you get hands of experience of each phase of the audit and are in an environment where you are continuously learning and developing.
Your responsibilities will include;
You must develop a deep understanding of the businesses risks, controls, and governance to meet and enhance governance objectives
Independently plan and organise activities to lead multiple priorities and complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Work collaboratively within the Audit department, aiming to build and develop internal relationships and maintain positive cohesive working relationship with external auditors
Identify issues, deviations, and root causes, and effectively communicate these (both written and verbal) to audit management and senior stakeholders, proposing effective solutions
Prepare and organise work papers, document conclusions, and prepare formal audit reports in accordance with established guidelines
Use data analysis techniques within an audit to achieve audit objectives and present the results visually
You must be
ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or working towards qualification
Have minimum 1 year of Internal Audit experience within Insurance
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders
Ability to take ownership and manage multiple projects
Proficient with Excel and macros or other business intelligence/data analysis tool
A highly analytical, details orientated and solution driven individual

Salary on offer: £75k + 20% on target bonus + pension and flexible hybrid working (2 days in the office)
