A leading Insurance firm, based in Central London, is expanding their established and highly experienced Mergers & Acquisitions team to support rapid growth plans. This is a unique opportunity for Big 4 qualified ACA or CFA with Corporate Finance experience, or someone currently within M&A at a London Market an Insurance firm, to get involved with the end-to-end deal process, acquiring businesses within the Insurance sector to complement their offering.
This role is well-suited to candidates who have post qualified experience within Mergers and Acquisition, Transaction Services or Corporate Finance. The successful candidate will support C-Suite executives with day-to-day support on all transaction opportunities and pitches, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and advisors.
Key Duties:
Full ownership of end-to-end M&A process
Due diligence on potential Insurance acquisitions
Liaison with counterparties and intermediaries/advisors
Able to translate actuarial, reinsurance and claims data
Responsible for preparation of key due diligence materials and output, reports, presentation and pitch documentation
Analyse historical and future financial information and balance sheets
Advise on deal activity from a financial analysis and contingency perspective

Qualifications & Expertise:
Qualified Professional (ACA, CFA etc) from a Big 4 firm
Strong knowledge of complex insurance accounting, including insurance and reinsurance
Strong client relationship skills
Able to produce highly accurate work within tight deadlines under pressure
M&A or Corporate Finance experience within Insurance / Reinsurance
High energy, with the desire to venture out of your comfort zone
