Position: Senior Manager -Financial Risk About the Role A large Global insurance group is looking to hire a Senior Manager to work within their Lloyd’s syndicate function. The business delivers innovative (re)insurance solutions globally. As a Senior Manager you will join their leadership team, taking charge of financial risk management while collaborating on quantitative risk activities within the Risk function.
In this role, you will:
Build strong stakeholder relationships in Finance and Investments
Challenge and review management of investment, credit, and liquidity risk
Provide fresh insights on investment portfolio management
Lead risk assessments and support risk identification
Develop stress tests and scenario analyses
Present findings to senior stakeholders and regulators
Foster a risk-aware culture
You should have:
Significant financial risk management experience
Proficiency in risk methodologies and communication
Autonomy and collaboration skills
Desirable Experience
Significant experience of financial risk management in the context of and insurance company (life or non-life), consultancy or rating agency
Understanding of liquidity and counterparty risk
Quantitative risk modelling
CFA, FIA or equivalent mathematical degree
