This Senior Risk Manager job will have the responsibility of overseeing various facets of risk management within the EMEA region. This role entails reporting to the Head of Operational Risk (EMEA) and maintaining a secondary reporting connection with the Chief Risk Officer. The primary focus of this position is to collaborate with local management, international counterparts, and the wider group risk management team to establish, monitor, and report on an effective Enterprise Risk Management framework.
Responsibilities:
Implement the ERM framework in alignment with the overarching corporate framework.
Consistently provide reports to the Head of Operational Risk, Chief Risk Officer, and Corporate risk management, addressing ERM-related matters.
Take the lead in integrating activities related to Operational Resilience for the EMEA region.
Serve as the secretary for risk committees.
Collaborate with and offer constructive challenges to risk owners' assessments on a regular basis.
Utilise risk management software tools to generate meaningful risk management information, including dashboards and metrics for ongoing risk monitoring.
Ensure that effective communication and training related to risk management are extended to all stakeholders within the business units.
Offer continuous support to the Head of Operational Risk for planned and ad hoc tasks and projects.
Contribute to the development of a comprehensive ERM framework, actively participating in global initiatives related to risk culture, Operational Risk Framework, and global Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs).
Requirements:
Demonstrate a proven track record of hands-on experience in Risk Management within Insurance, Reinsurance, Life Insurance or Financial services sectors.
Accumulate 5-10+ years of experience in the field of Risk Management.
