As a Senior Operational Risk Analyst, you will report directly to the Group Head of Operational Risk. The Group Operational Risk team is essential in providing oversight of key operational risks across the organization, and you will play a pivotal role in implementing a robust and consistent framework. This is an exciting opportunity for you to significantly enhance the operational resilience of the company while engaging regularly with senior management and local risk teams.
Your Responsibilities:
Take charge of developing the group operational risk framework, which includes defining risk appetite, monitoring metrics, and conducting scenario analysis.
Lead the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process for corporate functions (e.g., HR, BCP).
Analyze internal loss incidents, conducting thorough root cause analysis and trend assessments, and ensure lessons learned are communicated across all regions. You will also review and provide intelligence from external events.
Drive the production and enhancement of operational risk profiles and dashboards, ensuring that executive and board-level reporting meets the highest standards.
Spearhead the development of operational risk training and educational materials across the group.
Oversee the configuration and maintenance of the company’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) system, including crafting user guidelines.
Skills Required:
You must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property/casualty re/insurance companies or consulting firms (preferably).
A strong understanding and hands-on experience with second-line operational risk management frameworks are essential.
Demonstrated problem-solving prowess and exceptional execution skills are non-negotiable.
You must excel at building relationships with diverse roles and levels within the organization.
