Senior Pricing Actuary - Reinsurance

Arthur is delighted to be working with a global specialty reinsurance provider who are seeking a Senior Pricing Actuary to join their Treaty Pricing team.

This is a high-profile role offering exposure to a broad range of complex risks and the opportunity to contribute directly to underwriting decisions across international portfolios.

Responsibilities:
• Provide actuarial support for the pricing of treaty reinsurance contracts
• Work closely with underwriters and clients to deliver pricing analysis
• Carry out portfolio and profitability analyses to support business planning and strategic decision-making
• Maintain, enhance and develop exisiting and new pricing tools in line with needs o fhte business
• Collaborate with colleagues across Pricing, Claims, Reserving and Risk functions.

Requirements:
• Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent) with London or Lloyds Market experience
• Strong understanding of treaty pricing across property and casualty lines.
• Proficient in MS Excel; skills in R or Python are an advantage.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Analytical mindset with an interest in understanding drivers of claims experience and legislative trends.
