We are seeking an experienced pricing analyst with experience in a related insurance pricing role to lead new business and renewals projects across direct or intermediary business. As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you'll be responsible for delivering value-adding price optimizations, investigating customer responses to price variations, and ensuring thorough process documentation. You'll also be conducting competitor analysis and monitoring market activity to improve business outcomes in line with stakeholder objectives.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading new business and renewals projects across direct or intermediary business
Delivering value-adding price optimizations
Investigating customer responses to price variations
Conducting competitor analysis and monitoring market activity
Supporting new deals, offers, and product testing
Representing pricing in trading committees through supporting to key stakeholders and being clear on P&L targets
Peer review of own and others' work, coaching & mentoring junior colleagues
Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in a related insurance pricing role (strongly preferred)
Data science skills and any experience of machine learning algorithms using open source statistical packages R and Python (beneficial)
Optimisation, Emblem & Radar or similar pricing software experience is (desirable)
Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand the impact of trading decisions
Knowledge and/or competency with SAS or SQL
