Arthur are currently partnered with a specialty (re)insurer as they look to add a Senior Reinsurance Technician to their streamlined Ceded Re team. This role will focus on assisting with all functions associated with pre and post placement of outwards reinsurance contracts
The role would see you:
Calculation of premiums and recoveries for Excess of Loss, Proportional and Facultative Reinsurances.
Monitor and assist with reinsurance recoveries
Ensure all ceded claims are reported in line with contractual terms
Monitoring aging debt
Production of regulatory reports both internally and externally
Maintain and develop strong relationships with external parties and act as a referral point for brokers and reinsurers
Assist with the preparation of the renewal information for the RI purchases and reinsurance information for the Reinsurance Security and Broker Committee
Role Requirements & Skills
5 years' experience in ceded a reinsurance operations position
Detail oriented
Strong excel skills
Good communication skills
Confidence in dealing with all aspects of reinsurance operational and accounting processes
Experience in processing LORS transactions
