Arthur is delighted to be working with a top 20 (re)insurer who are to looking to recruit a Senior Risk Actuary to join a well-established and successful Actuarial Risk team based in London.
The role offers the opportunity to utilise technical actuarial expertise in reserving, capital or pricing to deliver a variety of risk management initiatives, deep dives, stress and scernaio testing and validation.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality insights and challenge to the business to in order to improve risk management and support business planning and wider strtageic decision making.
Engaging and building relationships across underwriting, reserving, pricing, capital and ERM to collaboratively support the business in risk based decision making.
Being a technical expert focussed on the quantitative elements of risk management through delivery of Stress and Scenario testing, reviewing the Business Plan and independent validation of the capital model under Solvency II,
Mentoring junior individuals and assisting in their learning an development
