Brand new Senior Risk Manager role to join a growing Enterprise Risk Management team. Reporting directly to the CRO, you'll play a vital role in implementing risk management strategies across business units, collaborating with experts to integrate their Risk Management Framework into the groups operations.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessment meetings to ensure thorough risk understanding and compliance.
Collaborate with business owners to assess internal control environments and oversee risk event remediation.
Review and challenge quarterly risk ratings, escalating critical issues to CROs.
Identify and mitigate emerging risks, particularly in transformational projects.
Analyse risk exposure data and prepare comprehensive reports for management and regulators.
Assist in preparing validation reports for regulatory compliance.
Contribute to stress tests and validation processes for Capital Models.
Communicate test outcomes and collaborate on resolution strategies.
Fulfil additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Strong project management skills with effective stakeholder communication.
Bachelor’s degree in a numerate subject; additional certifications are advantageous.
Experience or certification in insurance or risk management fields.
Proficiency in risk management methods and tools within the UK/EU insurance industry.
