Senior Underwriting Analyst

We are delighted to be partnering with a specialist Lloyd’s syndicate to support the recruitment of a Senior Underwriting Analyst.

The underwriting performance team are a valued function within the syndicate and have fostered strong, collaborative relationships with the underwriting teams. You will work closely with the teams to support reporting requirements, continuous improvements and strategy.

Given the changing demands on the team no day will look the same so having a flexible and proactive approach will be essential, while also excelling and enjoying problem solving.

Key duties include;

• • Elevating Underwriting MI and Data Visualisation capabilities by crafting new and insightful Power BI Dashboards
• • Spearheading continuous enhancements to current processes and providing assistance on various ongoing projects across the broader business
• • Collaborating with Underwriting Management, Finance, and Actuarial teams to compile and finalise the Lloyd’s QMB submissions
• • Contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of data captured within Underwriting Systems

The hiring manager is open to considering candidates from either an underwriting performance, risk or actuarial background. You must have advanced Excel, experience using a data visualisation tool (Power BI, Tableau etc.), with SQL knowledge preferred but not essential.
