Our client is a leading Insurer looking to hire a Solutions Architect on a permanent basis to work at the intersection of business and technology. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into technical solutions whilst managing hands-on-design.
The Solutions Architect will lead the definition and implementation of a robust integration strategy, working across teams to align application architecture and integration solutions with business goals. You will have end-to -end responsibility for designing and supporting the delivery of application solutions that enable a connected ecosystem across functions and sub-businesses, including underwriting, claims, broking and back-office functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, document, and implement scalable, secure, and efficient application architectures that align with the company’s business objectives.
Ensure applications are future-proofed to support evolving business needs, leveraging cloud-native designs where appropriate.
Define and implement integration patterns, principles, and standards to enable seamless data and process flows across systems.
Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions are built to architectural standards and follow best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Key Experience:
Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing solutions with Microsoft Azure, including tools like Power Automate, Logic Apps, API Management, and Service Bus.
Solid programming background, preferably in C# and .NET Core, with experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like ARM templates or Bicep.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
A strong track record as a Senior or Lead Developer, successfully delivering complex integration and application projects.
Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum Location: Central London/WFH hybrid (2 days in the office) Start Date: Up to 3 month notice periods considered
