We are looking for a FP&A Finance Manager to lead the financial planning and analysis for one of our London Market insurerance clients who are building a new Syndicate FP&A team with a focus on business partnering and managing the outsourced syndicate finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for the syndicate, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
Manage outsourced finance activities, liaising with external stakeholders such as the members agent.
Prepare financial reports and insights, supporting decision-making and ensuring compliance with Lloyd’s requirements.
Partner with business teams to monitor financial performance, providing analysis and recommendations for improvements.
Lead process improvements to enhance financial reporting, automation, and data accuracy.
Support systems development projects, ensuring finance requirements are met and optimising business processes.
Foster a high-performance team culture, mentoring colleagues and promoting knowledge-sharing and innovation.
Skills & Experience Required
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Expertise in Excel and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
In-depth understanding of insurance accounting, especially within the Lloyd’s market.
Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
Flexible and resilient, able to adapt to shifting priorities while ensuring high-quality outcomes
