We are currently working with a highly-regarded insurance business on the search for a Tax Accountant to join their growing team and support with the increased demand surrounding tax regulations and compliance within the industry.
As a Tax Accountant, you will be an integral part of the team working closely with internal stake holders and external tax advisors to ensure tax reporting is compliance and deadlines are achieved.
Responsibilities;
Conduct thorough reviews of tax-related documents and financial statements.
Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, ensuring compliance in line with regulations
Analyse financial data to identify opportunities for tax optimisation within the insurance industry.
Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, providing guidance to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for tax reporting.
Assist in tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities.
Respond to tax inquiries and audits, working closely with third parties.
Qualifications;
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACA qualification is required.
Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) designation is highly preferred.
1-3 years of experience in tax accounting within the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of Uk tax laws and regulations.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High proficent with MS Excel.
Salary: £65k + fantastic benefits and hybrid working.
