Technical Operations Lead

Arthur is collaborating with a Global (Re)Insurance Company, which is seeking a Technical Operations Lead to join their team.
 
The position will report directly into the Head of Operations and oversee all operational and administrative procedures, focusing specifically on managing ceded facultative reinsurance administration within UK Insurance Operations.
 
Day to day you will:
 

• Cultivate a high-performance culture within the Insurance Operations team through vision, coaching and staff development, while also overseeing performance management.
• Take the lead in enhancing operational, underwriting, and reporting processes and controls.
• Deliver high quality risk data to support data analytics objectives for reserving, pricing and related functions.
• Drive the redesign of business processes to ensure timely submission of reinsurance accounts.
• Interpret contract language from various documents and understand ceding hierarchy and underlying insurance policy terms.
• Act as the liaison between underwriting and ceded reinsurance accounting for inquiries from reinsurers and brokers.

 
We are looking to speak with candidates who have previous management experience in Specialty, Property and Casualty (Re)insurance.  
 
You must be proficient in independent thinking and adept at working both autonomously and collaboratively within the Insurance Operations function.
