Technical Pricing Manager (remote)

An opportunity has arisen to join a market leading Underwriting department in the Technical Pricing team. A function made up of actuaries and data scientists combining actuarial domain expertise in risk and finance with data science's advanced analytical and machine learning skills to create robust models for pricing, risk assessment, and strategic planning.

You will habe opportunity to explore and use new technologies and be involved in delivering strategic change such as improving the sophistication of models and deploying the latest data science techniques to generate profitable business growth. In addition, you will manage projects, assist in guiding data preparation, performing and reviewing actuarial modelling and interpreting results that drives high impact and, intelligent pricing solutions – all of which will help drive their competitive positioning. 

As a technical expert in the team, you will manage and develop a team of highly astute analysts to turn data into information that ultimately drives a truly value based pricing proposition. 

In order to be successful in this role, significant experience and knowledge of personal lines insurance, predictive modelling and IT skills including Emblem and Python are essential. Whilst they have offices across UK which you can use, majority of the team work remotely.
