Underwriting Analyst

Arthur is partnered with a Lloyd’s syndicate who is hiring an Underwriting Analyst to join their team based in London.
 
The role will act as the intermediary between the underwriting teams and various other technical functions where you will monitor the performance of the insurance portfolio and be responsible for:
 

• Researching and analysing potential transactions, including the evaluation of the risk and return characteristics of potential deals.
• Working with underwriting teams to build out a strong data infrastructure and ensure data processes are efficient.
• Collaborating with other underwriting divisions to share knowledge and insights.
• Working with outsource providers to ensure the quality and consistency of inputted underwriting data.

 
We are looking to speak with highly numerate and analytical graduates that have completed a mathematics, engineering or science degree.

Experience in coding languages such as SQL, Python or C++ would be beneficial.
