Underwriting Analyst

Arthur has an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to become part of an innovative Lloyd’s Syndicate as an Underwriting Analyst.

Reporting to the Underwriting Oversight Manager and collaborating daily with the underwriting teams, the successful candidate will support both the Underwriting Oversight Manager and the Head of Underwriting Management & Reinsurance in various underwriting oversight matters.

Responsibilities:

• Provide regular reports on underwriting controls, exceptions, breaches, and product oversight.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring underwriting processes, including peer reviews and management of underwriting authority.
• Generate and compile reports for external auditors and regulatory authorities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record of using data effectively to achieve excellent outcomes.  Strong communication skills are essential, as you will confidently interact with other employees at all levels.
