Overview:

Arthur are pleased to partner with a global insurer looking to hire an M&A Underwriting Analyst into their London office:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the underwriting team on M&A-related insurance cases, including W&I and Tax Liability matters.
  • Review incoming broker submissions, maintain accurate records, and manage the shared inbox.
  • Assist with the review, coordination, and negotiation of relevant transaction documents.
  • Coordinate billing activities, including premium and legal fee administration.
  • Help maintain underwriting files, internal data systems, and dashboards to required audit standards.
  • Contribute to relationship management with brokers, legal advisors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support on smaller underwriting tasks and help maintain templates, guidance materials, and market collateral.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a professional services environment.
  • Interest in and/or exposure to M&A transactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and working under pressure.
