A global insurer with both Lloyd’s and Company platforms are seeking to hire an Underwriting Audit Specialist to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits of underwriting processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

As an Underwriting Audit Specialist, you will be expected to have a thorough understanding of underwriting principles and processes, as well as a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for reviewing underwriting files and identifying any discrepancies or issues, and providing recommendations for improvement.

In addition, you will be preparing detailed reports on your findings and present them to management.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience gained in either underwriting governance/assurance, audit or delegated authority audit will be considered.
