Underwriting Governance Specialist

This role is reporting into the Underwriting Governance Manager at an Insurance business, based in London and offers hybrid working.  

Job Description

    • Undertake audit and new business reviews of underwriting teams 
    • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements and ensure appropriate measures are in place
    • Ability to assist the Audit Manager with development of the audit framework
    • Providing regular reports to the Senior Managers

 
Skills, Knowledge & Experience

    • Knowledge and experience of both Lloyd’s and the company markets.
    • Solid knowledge and experience of either a technical area, underwriting a commercial line of business or a role in compliance for a commercial insurer or syndicate.
    • Effective time management 

Beneficial

    • Language skills in any or all the following: French, German, Italian and Danish would be beneficial.
