Underwriting Manager

Arthur is working exclusively with a fast paced and highly entrepreneurial Lloyd's syndicate who is hiring an Underwriting Manager to join their business. 
 
The role will offer a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape their underwriting governance framework, ensuring strict adherence to standards and driving continuous improvement. Day to day you will:
 

• Design and implement monitoring frameworks.
• Lead on audits of syndicate underwriting processes and policies.
• Manage and develop underwriting management staff.
• Act on existing reporting to elevate Business Unit and syndicate adherence to guidelines.
• Project manage the onboarding of new business units.
• Actively contribute to technical training for underwriters.

 
We are looking to speak with highly analytical individuals that come from an underwriting control, underwriting MI or underwriting operations background. Proven experience in building and contributing to MI/reporting capabilities with proficiency in using Power BI or another data visualisation tool.
