Arthur is exclusively partnered with a Lloyd's insurance company who is hiring an Underwriting Operations Assistant.
 
In this role, you’ll provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the underwriting processes. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation within the Lloyd’s market and gain exposure to multiple areas of underwriting operations.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the underwriting team.
  • Enter and maintain accurate slip and endorsement data within the Policy Administration System.
  • Manage and monitor bordereaux, ensuring timely receipt and accuracy of data.
  • Perform regular data quality reviews, making prompt corrections as needed.
  • Communicate with brokers to request updates, chase outstanding information, and maintain clear records.
  • Liaise with other internal departments within the syndicate to support cross-functional efficiency.
  • Attend the box at Lloyd’s and assist underwriters as required.

 
The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organised, and detail-oriented, with confidence in managing data accurately. You’ll have excellent communication skills and work effectively with colleagues, brokers, and other stakeholders.
