Underwriting Operations Manager

Arthur is partnered with a highly regarded Lloyd’s Syndicate that is hiring an Underwriting Operations Team Leader.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a growing central team of Underwriting Assistants and apprentices. Your key responsibilities will include:
 

•  Working closely with the team to maintain and monitor the workflow between Underwriting teams and service providers.
• Overseeing all quality control and data entry checks and facilitating the resolution of data quality issues.
• Managing operational activities to ensure a high level of service to brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Utilizing active operations management techniques to plan, monitor, and report the performance of service delivery onshore and offshore across new and existing services.
• Identifying issues and implementing remedial actions, including training new and existing staff.

 
We are keen to speak with individuals who have a technical operations background and experience in slip construction and data extraction, along with strong Excel skills..
 
While previous management experience is advantageous, we also welcome candidates from a more technical underwriting/operations background who are looking to develop into a leadership role.
