Arthur is partnering with an innovative Lloyd’s syndicate to hire an Underwriting Operations Team Leader.
 
This is a key role focused on driving efficiency, automation, and process improvements, while ensuring seamless collaboration between the operations team and external partners.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead & develop a team of Underwriting Assistants, setting clear objectives and performance metrics.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and professional growth of team members.
  • Establish and standardise operational processes across underwriting operations.
  • Manage and resolve escalations related to underwriting systems and workflows.
  • Ensure efficient, accurate workflow management between underwriting operations and partners.
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships, leading partner meetings and workshops.
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Drive process automation and efficiency improvements across underwriting operations.

 
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements are essential for this role.
