Backed by outstanding capacity and with decades of trading history, you will be joining a lead player in the US Property binders market. Following exponential income growth, this team is seeking an established Assistant Underwriter / Underwriter to contribute to future expansion of the book.
Appetite focus for this team is varied and will expose you to underwriting Commercial Property, Habitational, High Value Homeowners and CAT perils including DIC Earthquake. Ideally you will have experience in the US Property Binders market so you can hit the ground running writing new and renewal business. This role will expose you to London market Brokers and clients from the outset. An exciting part of this role is the opportunity for yearly travel to conferences in the US and to meet with long standing coverholders / agents.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' Lloyd's / London market experience. Underwriting and Broking experience will be considered
- Knowledge of coverholder / binding authority business preferred
- Appetite to travel
