Arthur is excited to be collaborating with a highly successful market leading insurance firm who are looking to further expand their team by hiring a Casualty Claims Adjuster for their office in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Within this role you will serve as a senior casualty claims handler specializing in overseeing a portfolio of public and employers’ liability claims for local government clients. Your Responsibilities:
You will manage claims from initial notification through to resolution, making critical decisions on liability, fraud, and settlement amounts.
You will supervise these cases throughout litigation processes.
Effective communication is essential as you will interact with diverse stakeholders including clients, brokers, suppliers, claimants, and their representatives via various channels such as phone, email, and video conferencing.
What You Need:
Demonstrated experience in handling public and employers’ liability claims up to £25,000
Capable of confidently managing claims exceeding £25,000 under delegated authority.
Familiarity with managing MOJ Portal Claims.
Strong attention to detail in all aspects of claims handling.
Preferable experience in managing larger losses and failure to remove/police claims.
Proficient in proactive claims management techniques.
Solid grasp of insurance principles.
