The Delegated Authoirty team is well regarded across the business, with strong buy in from underwriting and senior stakeholders.
This opportunity would be ideal for someone already operating at a manager level looking for a change in environment or an experienced audit analyst ready to step up, who would be comfortable owning the audit oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the delegated audit programme, ensuring technical reviews and operational audits are completed to a high standard and in line with internal and market expectations.
Manage external audit firms, agree scopes and ensure requirements reflect Consumer Duty, Conduct Risk and wider regulatory considerations.
Maintain the audit schedule, tracking findings, recommendations and remediation actions, with escalation where appropriate.
Act as a trusted point of expertise for underwriters and internal teams, supporting them on audit requirements and delegated oversight queries.
Maintain a consistent and disciplined approach across all audit activity, ensuring clarity, control and strong governance throughout.
What You’ll Need
Solid experience within delegated authority audit oversight, whether gained in house or through an audit provider.
Confident communication skills with the ability to present findings and influence senior stakeholders.
A structured approach to audit management, including scoping, assessment, and remediation tracking.
Strong organisational capability and a collaborative mindset.
