Delegated Authority Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing London broker, where collaboration and trust are at the heart of how things are done. 

As the Delegated Authority Specialist, you’ll act as the right hand to the DA Manager, helping to drive improvements in oversight and governance across delegated business. With governance frameworks currently under review, the position will naturally evolve over the next 6–12 months, giving you a chance to influence how delegated arrangements are managed across the company. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support the DA Manager in shaping a consistent framework for delegated authority governance, ensuring it continues to meet the needs of a growing business.
• Oversee the lifecycle of delegated arrangements, from new approvals and renewals through to ongoing monitoring and change management.
• Partner with broking teams and external stakeholders to deliver a joined-up approach to delegated authority oversight.
• Produce reports and insights that evidence strong controls and highlight opportunities for improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid delegated authority experience and excellent knowledge of the Lloyd’s regulatory landscape.
• Confident with market systems and able to navigate complex contracts. 
• A self-starter, confident in your approach, and someone who will thrive in a culture built on trust, collaboration, and shared goals.
