I am working with a leading Financial Services firm based in Bermuda, who are seeking a qualified actuary to join their growing Actuarial & Financial Risk department. This role is Assistant Director level and reports directly to the Deputy Director.
Remote working is possible after probation has been passed.
Responsibilities:
Strong focus on Underwriting, reserving, risk aggregation processes and evaluating capital requirements
Contributing to the Department's efforts in utilising statistical and financial analytic for development and application purposes
Representing the firm at local and international meetings, conferences, and fostering key relationships with regulatory bodies /government agencies
Requirements
Qualified Actuary
10 years of experience within the insurance industry
Experience with insurance and reinsurance actuarial issues, including pricing, reserving, capital modelling, financial reporting and risk management
