Head of Delegated Operations

We are delighted to be working with a growing insurer to support the hire of their newly created Head of Delegated Operations position.

You’ll report directly to the COO and have full ownership of the end to end process for operational aspects of delegated business including; bordereaux management, EPI tracking and credit control and also play a key role in supporting and strengthening the company’s operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the review of new delegated opportunities from an operational standpoint, ensuring data can be provided in an acceptable format
• Oversee bordereaux management and mapping processes
• Working with coverholders who do not meet agreed SLAs for bordereaux submissions and escalating where necessary
• Manage the processing of actuals and resolve queries
• Oversee EPI management
• Prepare and deliver reports for committee meetings including; Board, Delegated Underwriting Group and Product Governance
• Drive performance monitoring and reporting to meet SLAs and KPIs

To be considered for this position you must have significant experience within delegated operations, have sound knowledge of regulations for writing delegated business and delegated authority systems.

You will also have a proven track record in process management and implementing and delivering process improvements across bordereaux management.
