Head of Investment & Counterparty Management

Arthur has partnered with a leading financial services business who are looking to appoint a Head of Investment and Counterparty Risk where you take charge of a team reporting to the Capita Director. This role will play a pivotal role in steering strategic asset allocation and ensuring robust risk management practices.

You will spearhead the design of the investment governance framework, defining strategic asset allocation and overseeing external asset managers.

Develop and maintain a credit counterparty management framework, assessing and managing counterparty exposures to uphold the business's risk appetite.

• Framework Ownership: Design, implement, and maintain the Credit Counterparty Management Framework.
• Collaborate on setting strategic objectives for the investment and asset liability management (ALM) strategy.
• Drive the development of the businesses'
• Responsible Investment Policy.
• Oversee the effective operation of the Economic Scenario Generator, Credit Risk Monitoring, and other third-party tools.
• Engage with external stakeholders such as asset managers, Pension Trustees, and investment consultants to meet objectives.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of monitoring and reporting processes for strategic asset allocation, ALM, and Counterparty Management metrics.
• Report directly to the Director while managing a dedicated team of three professionals.
