Head of Underwriting Service Delivery

Arthur is partnered with a Global Insurance Company who is hiring a Head of Underwriting Service Delivery.
 
This newly established role is part of the COO function, and The Service Delivery team is crucial in supporting various business lines within their London-based Underwriting team, while also driving transformation initiatives to expand and enhance control over the services they provide.
 
This exciting opportunity allows the successful candidate to take on the role of end-to-end process owner for service delivery, playing a pivotal part in enhancing the operational resilience of the Operations function.  Day to day you will be responsible for:

• Creating and executing service delivery strategies, along with operational plans and processes, that align with the organisation's overall objectives.
• Establishing and leading a high-performing service delivery team, making staffing decisions based on demand and service usage.
• Leading ongoing improvements to service delivery processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintaining strong relationships with the business, outsourcing partners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Creating a training program to be implemented across the Operations function, aimed at ensuring all COO operations teams are thoroughly trained in all areas.
