Are you passionate about Financial Crime and Compliance? Do you have experience working with risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance? We have an exciting opportunity for you as Compliance Advisory Contractor. 

About the Role: In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of Financial Crime & Compliance (FC&C) objectives by executing and enhancing key activities such as Risk Assessments, Monitoring & Assurance, and other critical compliance tasks. As a fungible resource, you will contribute to the development and execution of processes that drive business compliance and support our leadership team in managing risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance to 1st line colleagues, ensuring that Compliance and Financial Crime Frameworks are effectively embedded within the business.
• Lead “business as usual” FC&C tasks, producing high-quality reporting with minimal supervision.
• Manage and maintain established processes within the FC&C Advisory team.
• Conduct Monitoring & Assurance (M&A) reviews as needed.
• Engage with senior stakeholders, including heads of functions and the Executive Leadership Group.
• Build and maintain a strong internal network of peers to support collaborative working and strategic objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory developments.
• Provide technical support to internal projects and programmes.
• Represent senior management in internal meetings as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing risk management frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of financial crime and compliance principles, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Previous experience working with FC&C frameworks, procedures, and controls.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle complex compliance tasks.
• Proficiency in communication and report production, with experience liaising with stakeholders.
• Financial Crime & Compliance-related certifications or qualifications are a plus.
