Lead Business Analyst – Insurance Location: London / Hybrid Salary: Competitive + Benefits Contract: 6-month contract (Outside IR35) with a view to extend Are you an experienced Lead Business Analyst with a strong background in insurance and a passion for driving large-scale digital transformation? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join a leading (Life Insurance) company to play a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, providing coaching and professional development.
Oversee the end-to-end business analysis function within large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Work closely with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, underwriting, IT, and operations.
Define and implement best practices for business analysis, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
Drive process improvements and efficiency gains across underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
Collaborate with technology teams to ensure the successful delivery of digital solutions.
Contribute to the successful implementation of Underwriting Workbenches (experience beneficial but not essential).
Key Requirements:
Insurance industry experience is essential (London Market, General Insurance, or Life Insurance).
Proven experience leading and managing a team of Business Analysts, including performance management and professional development.
Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale digital transformation projects.
Strong knowledge of underwriting, claims, and policy administration processes.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and technical teams.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
